Yesterday was a nice enjoyable party with a LOT of players, including some oldschool come back, that was amazing times there that I was happy to admin, here are the results, thanks all for show and the gameplay, GG, it was amazing

I hope you’ve been doing well all this time. I wanted to share some updates with you. I’ve managed to bring the game back to life on several occasions and revive some of the old feelings and experiences within the game, which has been really motivating for the community. (We did many 7vs7 tonight)
However, there is a serious issue that I find unacceptable. One player, displaying a Norwegian flag, constantly insults other players. Even worse, he repeatedly told a female friend of mine that he would have sex with her and rape her. These statements were made several times and are clearly beyond any acceptable behavior. (+ adding the racist slurs all time)
I asked Acadie to take the necessary action, but he told me that apparently you do not want this player to be banned. This leads me to a simple question: why not ban him? He contributes nothing positive to the community, discourages new players I’m trying to motivate, and demoralizes long-time players, including myself.
Because of this, I would like to ask whether I could be given access to the RCON. Acadie does not know how to use it at all. I understand that you chose to give it to him for reasons that are your own. However, allowing players to be constantly insulted and ignored while having the tools to act feels, to me, like a serious failure toward the community.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this message. We are already a small community, and allowing such toxic behavior to grow will not give this game a second life.

The Free Servers are mainly maintained by Acadie and Dende, I am not trying to pass the responsibility here but since I am seldom on the Free Servers, I decided to step aside.
Servers are running with enhanced "Functions" thanks to Acadie and Dende.
We have "perma_mute.func", that can be used, I will look into the commands and post after work.
There is also the "norwayguy_mute.func" (might be obsolete since I only see it in the Free Server B and not Free Server A!)
The reason for the Free Servers was, the fact that I kept getting emails whenever I gave RCON to anyone, someone always complains.
Have not checked my email, still have company over for the Holidays (they'd be leaving this coming Monday), haven't done anything but maintenance on the servers.
What command /s, do you need that is not available with the ".rcon"? We can always add.
Not sure if the .rcon can issue ".rcon password", this could work in certain instances but also block some other legit players.
End of the month maintenance, there might be changes, also possibility of the "Euro Bastards" coming back, on request, and only up for few hours each time someone requests to have it (be full access), as long as it does not interfere with the Free Servers. (low possibility).
This is to all players, please use ".upload_match" at the end of the match, so the SS is uploaded to our Discord.
It is also good to capture these matches, more players should record these matches.
I do, when I happen to be on the servers and, spec different/ all players, then post a link to the video, currently Discord only but, we could upload them here as well.
Anyone with any recording, can send me a link and I would host it.
The Free Server used to have .rcon kick & ban. However, due to constant abuse in which it screwed games or set up games. All these commands have been removed and will not be reinstated.
ip_mute is available. Although, I discovered that it wasn't functioning but I fixed it. I also added ip_remove in case you want to unmute.

This command doe not exist out of the box but it is possible to implement it.
Then re add atleast the rcon kick command, its totally necessary when we try play clean games and getting voluntary annoying but this cancer, thats just make senses, you dont host mixed games as I do, so you cant guess like how its necessary

Sad to see toxic behaviour in such an old game. Thought it would just be the enthousiasts left, but apparently there are still some (hopefully just the one) idiots left.
I have been hoping to come and play some time, but my days are completely filled nowadays. After work it is usually a quick dinner, then i start working on the cars or meet with family or friends. Weekends is even worse, because i want to take my rest, but usually end up in a bar with some friends. If I have some free time, I'll check the serverlist to see if anyone is on.

Select what you want/ rent/ once the server is ready/ use the OVH Control Panel to install Debian 13/ give me password for Debian and I'll set it up for you.
For file transfer/ Management, you'll need "PuTTY" and "FileZilla Client" (edit dedicated.cfg, maplist and such)
I will install what is required to run SoF, install Sof (plain Platinum with SoFplus), upload all maps and help keeping the server up to date or show you how.
You will need to edit the Dedicated.cfg/ sofplus-cvars.cfg and the maplist.
We know how unhinged SoF forums can be but weirdly enough i dont remember toxic behaviour in game. The game goes too fast to sit there and type. If "norwayguy" is playing and flaming he is really dedicated to the art.
I know, same thing when you're having a drink or bite out in the sun. Some waiters or waitresses do not even speak Dutch. Amsterdam is even worse. Lucky for me, I don't like cities that much, so I'm not often in that situation.
