Might be a week or two waiting for it... but well worth your money if you customise it right.

I'd go for a Dell (you can decide what hardware you want in your pc and they got a good service after you bought the pc) or a HP (decent quality and low prices, more for less )
but i'm sure yump knows more about this kind of stuff

Re: New computer
GLHF is from a 1.6/css player (a well known one, good reputation etc). He does good prices, builds them himself etc, loads of players buy from him.
Always want to dodge acer/dell brands , i mean it says 4GB ram, yet u have no idea which brand, could be a cheap one with low speed. Same with other components in it. Unless u select the parts 1 by 1 yourself, i would not get these "premade" ones.
Well think we have had a PC since 1996, not once have we bought the OS. Just download one, easy.
i3,i7 etc no idea. Dont really follow pc components anymore since i bought E8400 when it came out. But i guess the higher the number, the faster it is etc.

Re: New computer
for i3, i5 or i7
its just a type description
basicly, a i7 with 1,6 ghz is faster than an i3 with 1,6 ghz (dont ask me why, but it is. its probably some clocking feature), i5 is the inbetweener
furthermore, there are also second generation i3, i5 and i7, but im not really sure if there is a difference with the normal ones

Re: New computer
There is a huge difference but i won't have time till next year to give u a detailed summary lol
Not that it would be important to go into details anyways , fact is new generation i5 is much cheaper and better equipped to deal with any game old or new then the first i series ...

Gigabyte P67A-D3-B3 100 euro
Intel Core i5-2500K Processor 200 euro <== core part , rest is easily changed
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 32. euro
Scythe Mugen 3 40 euro
RAM 50 euro
MSI GeForce GTX 460 Hawk 1024 MB 190 euro <== core part
Corsair 100 eu
Arctic Cooling Silentium T11 Case

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB (SATA3)

Re: New computer
This topic is probably out of date, just wanted to reply to make clear I am finally on this forum.
Don't buy a pre-assembled pc from a brand! You pay +10-20% just because it says Alienware or Dell.
Look at hardware sites for different components and order them at a cheap pc-selling site and if needed let them assemble the system.
Many sites recommend a complete system for your needs:
