Never went to these kind of events, but I must say the french are insane. They truely bring entertainment as you can see in the video below. What I expected to be boring after a couple of hours, was probably the most fun i've had in a long time.
Not many "normal people" know this but being in a top30 team of the world basically consists of earning €5000 euros/month excluding stream and tournament winnings (the lowest prizes are €10 000 going up to 2 million per tournament), living in gaming houses with swimming pools or penthouses, sponsored by Adidas, Pringles, Alienware, Gigabyte, MSI, Intel, Razer, Monster Energy ... while traveling 10 different countries a year to be cheered upon by thousands of spectators.
You had to wait like 1 hour in line, to get inside, a picture or autograph with your favourite player would take like 20 minutes because 100's of people are pushing to get one. It's even worse for the best players. I literally saw 1 player, being blocked in a corner by 500 people, for 2-3 hours before he could actually get some food from the lobby rofl.
Then I realised: Imagine if this was for SOF and its SFL. But instead, we struggle to survive with like 30 players in online tournament
